Xeinadin expands in Dublin with acquisition of Hayden Brown

Grafton Street accountancy firm joins growing professional services group as Xeinadin strengthens its presence in the capital.

Xeinadin, one of the leading professional services practices in Ireland and the UK, has expanded its presence in Dublin through the acquisition of long-established accountancy firm Hayden Brown.

The move will add Hayden Brown’s Grafton Street office to Xeinadin’s Irish operations, strengthening the group’s city-centre presence and broadening its audit, accounting and tax capabilities for clients across the capital.

“The team’s experience will strengthen our audit and tax offering, expand the support available to our clients and give their existing client base more services to grow at scale”

Founded in 1897, Hayden Brown is a fourth-generation family-owned practice and one of Dublin’s longest-established accountancy firms. Over more than a century, the firm has built a client base spanning businesses, individuals, charities and professional organisations, serving sectors including retail, renewable energy, professional services and entertainment.

The personal touch

The firm has developed a reputation for its personalised approach to client service and long-standing relationships with generations of Dublin businesses and families.

Sandra Clarke, Managing Partner of Xeinadin Ireland, said the addition of Hayden Brown marks an important milestone for the group’s growth strategy.

“Hayden Brown joining our team represents an important addition to Xeinadin, expanding our city-centre presence in Dublin,” she said. “The firm is well respected within the local business community, with a strong track record of client service and long-standing relationships across a range of sectors.

“The team’s experience will strengthen our audit and tax offering, expand the support available to our clients and give their existing client base more services to grow at scale. The addition of Hayden Brown is a positive step for us not just in the capital but nationally and we are delighted to have them on board.”

For Hayden Brown, the deal provides access to a broader network of specialist expertise while maintaining the firm’s local identity and client relationships.

Stephen Brown, Partner at Hayden Brown, said Xeinadin’s approach to growth and partnership was a key factor in the decision to join the organisation.

“Xeinadin stood out because its values closely aligned with our own and its model allows firms to retain their local presence and client relationships. Through joining Xeinadin, our clients will benefit from access to a wider range of specialist expertise and international support, while our team gains the backing, resources and career opportunities that come with being part of a larger organisation. We believe this positions the firm strongly for the future and we look forward to being part of the Xeinadin team.”

In 2025, seven firms joined Xeinadin from across the country. Xeinadin is undertaking a further round of strategic investments in 2026, acquiring additional practices and further expanding its presence across Ireland.
