Social Media Fest Ireland 2025 returns to Wexford with focus on AI, video and community building.
Social Media Fest Ireland will return to the Talbot Hotel in Wexford on 26 November 2025, offering a full-day programme for digital marketers, entrepreneurs and creatives.
Organised by Samantha Kelly, known as the “Tweeting Goddess,” the event combines practical workshops, keynote talks and networking opportunities, with both in-person and virtual attendance options available.
“As social media is always changing, it’s important to keep up with things like AI and short-form video, but it’s equally important to know how to use it to build a community and make sales”
Now in its latest edition, the festival continues to spotlight emerging trends in digital communication. This year’s agenda includes sessions on LinkedIn sales strategies, global brand promotion, short-form video creation and the evolving role of artificial intelligence in marketing.
Seize the d-AI
Social Media Fest Ireland continues to position itself as a grassroots alternative to larger industry conferences, with a focus on practical learning and peer-to-peer connection.
“We choose our speakers based on the most pressing topics at the time,” said Kelly. “As social media is always changing, it’s important to keep up with things like AI and short-form video, but it’s equally important to know how to use it to build a community and make sales.”
Speakers include Lewis Crompton, who will discuss financial freedom; Zoe Lister, who will speak on going viral and personal reinvention; Christopher Nial, addressing the impact of AI; and Sarah and Laura from Little Spark Media, leading a workshop on reels. The programme also features panel discussions and networking sessions.
Kelly said the event was originally created to give a platform to everyday business owners who rarely get the opportunity to share their expertise publicly. “From there it has evolved into also including celebrities and more recognisable faces in social media,” she said, citing past and upcoming appearances by Alison Arngrim, Zoe Lister and Andy Lambert of Adobe.
One of the festival’s distinguishing features is its open networking format. “We don’t gatekeep our speakers,” Kelly said. “They’re in the room networking at coffee break and over lunch, so attendees can ask them more questions and connect with them on a personal level.”
Tickets are priced under €100 and include lunch and access to recordings of all talks. Kelly emphasised the event’s accessibility and community-driven ethos, noting that several past attendees have gone on to speak at other conferences or receive media coverage following their participation.
“Two of our attendees, Laura from Little Spark Media and Orlaith Reid, will be speaking this year,” she said. “I love to give experts who have attended and supported us previously opportunities to be on stage.”
