Dublin start-up Zellor will use the investment to power its UK expansion and the rollout of its AI-powered sales assistant for beauty and lifestyle brands.
Irish e-commerce company Zellor has secured €850,000 in investment from backers that include Enterprise Ireland and angel investors.
The business is preparing to expand internationally and deepen its AI-powered video shopping offering for online retailers.
“Video has become the dominant language of product discovery, yet most e-commerce experiences remain static”
Zellor, which up until now has been entirely funded by its founders, plans to accelerate product development, grow its engineering and commercial teams and drive an international go-to-market push.

Founded in Dublin, Zellor develops AI-powered video commerce tools designed to help online retailers to replicate the expertise of an in-store assistant.
At the helm is CEO Niall O’Sullivan, a serial entrepreneur who has built companies through every major technology wave of the past two decades. The investment announcement coincides with the commercial rollout of Zellor’s AI Shopping Assistant.
“We’re delighted to have the support of Enterprise Ireland and our Irish investors as we enter our next phase of growth,” O’Sullivan said.
Functioning as a 24/7 digital concierge, Zellor’s AI Shopping Assistant moves beyond traditional chatbots by responding to complex customer queries with dynamic video content.
Its core product, the Zellor AI AI Shopping Assistant, responds to customer queries using a retailer’s existing video content, delivering tailored product guidance in real-time.
The assistant acts as a kind of digital sales agent that draws on a brand’s library of shoppable videos to answer questions such as product suitability, routines or shade matching. Customers receive visual responses rather than text, allowing them to interact with products in a more guided and informed way.
“Video has become the dominant language of product discovery, yet most e-commerce experiences remain static,” O’Sullivan said. “At Zellor, we’re changing that by turning brand video libraries into intelligent, real-time shopping conversations.”
