Vault365 targets UK growth through Newcorp partnership as demand for data resilience increases.
Vault365 has announced a new partnership with UK IT solutions provider Newcorp that is expected to generate an additional €585,000 in UK revenues over the next 12 months and increase the company’s overall UK revenues by 20%.
The Dublin-based data protection specialist said the agreement comes amid growing demand from organisations for secure backup and recovery solutions, stronger data sovereignty controls and enhanced compliance capabilities as cyber threats and regulatory requirements continue to evolve.
“For many businesses, cloud isn’t the only answer, and storing data securely on-site provides increased protection against ransomware and enables more control over sensitive data”
Under the partnership, Newcorp will offer Vault365’s LocalLock solution to customers across the UK. The immutable backup appliance enables organisations to store critical business data on-premise, preventing backed-up information from being altered, overwritten or deleted by cyber criminals.
The move is expected to strengthen Vault365’s presence in highly regulated industries, with Newcorp’s customer base spanning sectors including healthcare, education and local government.
Firms want to stay in control
Vault365 launched LocalLock earlier this year as part of its strategy to provide organisations with greater control over sensitive data while supporting rapid recovery in the event of cyber incidents or hardware failures. The appliance operates alongside cloud-based backup systems and is designed to continue protecting data locally, including during network outages.
Cillian McCarthy, CEO of Vault365, said the partnership represents an important step in the company’s UK expansion plans.
“As part of our continued expansion in the UK, we are delighted to welcome Newcorp as a Vault365 partner in the market,” McCarthy said. “Newcorp’s deep understanding of the UK landscape makes it the perfect partner to deliver our LocalLock solution to organisations with complex compliance needs.
“For many businesses, cloud isn’t the only answer, and storing data securely on-site provides increased protection against ransomware and enables more control over sensitive data.”
The agreement reflects a wider focus among organisations on strengthening cyber resilience and ensuring business-critical information remains accessible and protected in the face of increasing security challenges.
Andrew Low, Account Director at Newcorp, said the partnership would allow customers to benefit from both advanced technology and specialist support.
“The ability to securely store data locally is becoming ever more important to businesses and this partnership enables us to provide increased reassurance to customers that their data is protected and easily retrievable.
“As well as an advanced technology solution, customers will benefit from local support and expert technical guidance when it comes to securing their sensitive digital assets. We’re looking forward to continuing to grow the partnership and expand our Vault365 capabilities.”
