Irish AI firm TensorX reaches $5m revenue, appoints Tim Grant as CEO and scales sovereign AI infrastructure as customer demand surges across Europe.
Dublin AI infrastructure company TensorX has revealed that it now serves more than 5,000 paying customers as monthly token volumes reach 1.1 trillion and European demand for sovereign AI accelerates
The business has reached $5 million in revenue and appointed Tim Grant as chief executive officer as demand for private AI infrastructure gathers pace across Europe.
“We have plans to enter into other jurisdictions to deliver truly sovereign AI as per client needs in multiple locations around the world”
Grant, who joined the Dublin-based company as executive chairman in May, will now lead the business as it expands its infrastructure footprint and customer base.
In June the business launched with an €8m seed funding round led by Darius Cubed Ventures.
KEY NUMBERS: TensorX Growth
• $5m revenue milestone reached
• 5,000+ paying customers across Europe and beyond
• 171-fold increase in token usage in seven months
• 1.1 trillion monthly tokens processed in September
• 108% average monthly growth in token volumes
• 34.5 million API requests in September
• 1,000+ additional active customer domains added
• 192 NVIDIA B300 GPUs available across Ireland and Finland
Editorial takeaway: TensorX has rapidly evolved from an early-stage AI infrastructure provider into a scaled sovereign AI platform, with exceptional customer growth, surging usage volumes and expanding GPU capacity positioning it to capitalise on rising European demand for secure AI infrastructure.
The future of AI is sovereign
TensorX operates a neocloud platform that delivers inference on open-source AI models using dedicated NVIDIA GPUs with zero data retention, ensuring customer data is not stored, reused or processed outside Europe. The company has raised $10 million in seed funding led by Darius Cubed Ventures.
The business has grown rapidly during 2026. Over the past seven months, TensorX increased its paying customer base to more than 5,000 organisations. Customers range from small businesses spending a few euros per month to enterprises investing thousands of euros in AI inference services.
The company also serves customers requiring reserved infrastructure capacity, including APEX:E3, which is building AI applications for enterprise clients.

September marked a significant milestone, becoming the first month in which combined shared and dedicated token usage exceeded one trillion tokens.
“Progessive businesses are building real AI powered applications right now and they want access to the most performant open source AI models as they evolve, but they also need control over where their data is processed and the infrastructure that runs it,” said Tim Grant, chief executive officer of TensorX.
“We are seeing that demand translate into real usage and commercial growth. Our focus now is on building out GPU capacity, the team and the infrastructure to support that growth while maintaining the level of control our customers require. We also have plans to enter into other jurisdictions to deliver truly sovereign AI as per client needs in multiple locations around the world.”
Between February and September 2026, monthly token volume on TensorX’s shared inference platform increased from 5.63 billion to 1.1 trillion tokens, representing a 171-fold increase over seven months. The company said growth was recorded every month during the period, with September alone adding 451 billion tokens, more than the platform processed during its first six months combined.
The increase has been driven by broad customer adoption rather than a small number of workloads. Active customer domains rose by more than 1,000 during the same period, while monthly API requests grew from 264,917 to 34.5 million.
Founder Shane Morton said Grant’s leadership would be important as the company scales its operations.
“Tim has spent his career building and scaling infrastructure in regulated markets, and he has been working alongside us since May,” said Morton.
“As TensorX enters its next phase of growth, his experience will be invaluable as we scale the business and infrastructure around the demand we are seeing.”
Customers are already using TensorX infrastructure to deploy AI tools internally and for clients.
“TensorX turbo charged the output of our development team and enabled us to deploy our own A3 coding assistant. TensorX is simply the only platform we trust with our most sensitive data,” said Usman Khan, CEO of APEX:E3.
The company’s growth comes as organisations across Europe seek greater control over how AI systems are deployed and where sensitive data is processed. Industries including financial services, healthcare and defence are increasingly exploring sovereign AI and cloud solutions that meet regulatory and security requirements.
TensorX currently owns a fleet of 96 NVIDIA B300 GPUs operating in Ireland and has an additional 96 GPUs available in Finland. The company is finalising an order that will significantly expand its GPU capacity.
Employing around 20 people, TensorX plans to grow its workforce in the coming months as it scales infrastructure to meet rising customer demand.
