Corporate league gains momentum
Founded by entrepreneur Brian Lee, TRYKA combines running and functional fitness in an arena-style format aimed at a broad range of participants.
More than 30% of competitors during its first season were taking part in hybrid fitness racing for the first time. Across its opening season, TRYKA attracted more than 50,000 competitors and spectators in Ireland, the UK and Europe.
Lee said the growth of the Corporate League had become a significant part of the wider TRYKA community.
“One of the most exciting things about TRYKA’s growth has been seeing the Corporate League become such a significant part of the community. We created TRYKA to bring people together through fitness, and the way companies have embraced that has exceeded all expectations.
“To see organisations showing up, training together, supporting each other and creating healthier workplace cultures is incredibly rewarding. Huge congratulations to Áine and the entire Smooth Company team on becoming our first-ever Fittest Company champions.”
