Noledge says €250,000 investment set to drive growth, create jobs and deliver data-led efficiencies for multi-site retailers.
Financial management and ERP specialist The Noledge Group has unveiled a new digital platform SRUU, aimed at helping retailers streamline operations, improve insight and manage energy usage more effectively across their businesses.
Backed by an initial investment of €250,000, the platform is expected to generate an additional €1 million in revenue for the group by 2028. The rollout will also support the creation of 10 new roles spanning product development, customer support, finance, sales and marketing.
“The ability to identify trends and patterns in a fast changing retail environment will help businesses stay competitive”
SRUU builds on Noledge’s earlier Connections platform and has been designed to bring together core retail functions into a single system. The platform integrates electronic point of sale data with supplier, accounting and energy management systems, giving operators a unified view of performance across one or multiple locations.
One stop shop for retailers
Already in use across more than 600 stores in Ireland and the UK, SRUU counts retail brands such as Corrib Oil, Jump Juice Bars, Sewell on the go, and Jos Richardson & Son among its customers. Noledge plans to double this customer base within three years as part of its expansion strategy.
The platform is tailored to retailers managing distributed operations, where fragmented systems can add complexity. By consolidating data from sales, stock management and financial reporting, SRUU aims to simplify day-to-day processes and support more informed decision-making.
For store operators, the result is intended to be time saved on administrative tasks and greater visibility across their businesses. Staff benefit from streamlined workflows and easier access to key information, while business owners gain the ability to track performance and respond quickly to changes in demand.
Energy management is another core part of the offering. The platform analyses and automates energy usage, helping retailers reduce costs and lower carbon emissions. This is an area of increasing focus for retail businesses balancing rising operational expenses with sustainability goals.
Ladislav Zimanyi, head of Operations at SRUU, said the platform has been developed with modern retail challenges in mind.
“SRUU is a one stop solution for retailers to automate processes and improve operational visibility,” he said. “It is designed to scale alongside growing businesses and to support expansion as new sites are added.”
He added that access to integrated data will become increasingly important as the sector evolves.
“The ability to identify trends and patterns in a fast changing retail environment will help businesses stay competitive. We see strong demand for digital capabilities and we are focused on supporting a new generation of retailers as they grow.”
The launch reflects a broader shift within the retail sector towards unified digital systems that deliver both efficiency and insight. As businesses continue to operate across multiple locations and channels, platforms that can centralise operations and provide real-time intelligence are becoming essential infrastructure.
For Noledge, SRUU represents both a product evolution and a growth opportunity, as it deepens its footprint in the retail technology space while supporting customers navigating an increasingly data-driven landscape.
