Landmark Technologies invests €1.2m in new Cyber Monitoring Centre

New Landmark Technologies Cyber Monitoring Centre will respond 24/7 to cybersecurity incidents.

Dublin businessLandmark Technologies is opening a €1.2m investment to establish a Cyber Monitoring Centre aimed at enhancing cyber threat detection and response capabilities for Irish businesses.

The new facility will offer continuous monitoring and protection for both SMEs and larger organisations. It will be staffed by a team of cyber analysts and management professionals, with five new roles to be created over the next year.

“We expect to see a particular surge in AI-based attacks”

The provider of IT and cybersecurity services will use artificial intelligence tools alongside expert personnel to monitor IT environments and deliver proactive protection against threats such as ransomware, business email compromise, and AI-driven attacks.

Landmark Technologies will also offer cyber awareness training to help businesses and their employees strengthen their security posture.

Keeping pace with cybercriminals

Ken Kelleher, managing director of Landmark Technologies, said the centre is being launched in response to increasing demand for advanced cybersecurity solutions.

“A growing number of businesses do not have the necessary in-house resources to keep pace with evolving cyber requirements,” he said.

“We expect to see a particular surge in AI-based attacks. Our new Cyber Monitoring Centre will provide fully integrated security services to ensure that customers have world-class protection. In the event of an incident, our highly skilled technical team will respond 24/7 to ensure business can continue uninterrupted.”

As part of the investment, the company is undertaking a full refresh of its Dublin 12 headquarters. The upgrade includes new technology, equipment, and facilities designed to support future growth and operational resilience.

Kelleher added: “We strive to deliver technology solutions that enable continued growth for our customers, with peace of mind that their operations are ultra-secure.”
