Irish water and wastewater engineering company Glanua has expanded into the United States with the opening of its first American office in Pennsylvania, marking a significant step in the Galway-headquartered firm’s international growth strategy.
The new office, located in Radnor near Philadelphia, gives Glanua a presence across Ireland, the UK, continental Europe and North America as the company seeks to capitalise on growing demand for specialist water and wastewater treatment expertise in the life sciences and advanced manufacturing sectors.

The move comes during a period of rapid expansion for the business. Glanua expects revenues to exceed €200 million this year, up from €155 million in 2025, while its workforce has grown from 545 employees at the end of last year to more than 750 today.

An experienced chemical engineer, McKeever has worked in business development and project development roles and brings expertise in the life sciences sector. He joined the company earlier this month and became Glanua’s 750th employee.
