Family-owned firm Callaghan Electrical marks 30 years in business this year.
Stradone-based electrical contractor Callaghan Electrical has marked three decades of continuous growth and project delivery by surpassing 100 employees.
Founded in 1996, Callaghan Electrical has grown from a small local operation into a leading electrical contractor delivering electrical design, installation, and maintenance services across Ireland.
“We’ve a strong order book, a growing team, and a clear strategic direction – our future looks bright and we are so proud to be one of Cavan’s – and Ireland’s – long-standing success stories”
The company operates in multiple sectors including residential, industrial, pharmaceutical, healthcare, heritage, education and public sector.

Callaghan Electrical’s continued growth is reflected in recent major project completions and new contracts.
Sample projects include the completion of a large-scale (82,000 sq.ft) electrical fitout in the pharmaceutical sector for PCI Pharma Services.
Having previously completed 1000 apartment units at Adamstown Dublin for Elliott Group, Callaghan Electrical is currently delivering a further 330 apartment units at Adamstown. Locally in Cavan, the firm is delivering a 100,000 sq. ft. electrical package for a modern metal fabrication facility for Breffni Air.
Managing director Kieran Callaghan said the anniversary represents both a proud moment and an exciting launchpad for the future.
“Reaching 30 years in business is a significant milestone for us. What makes it even more special is achieving it alongside breaking the 100-employee mark. That growth is down to the hard work, professionalism, and loyalty of our team, and the continued trust of our clients and partners across the country.”
He added: “We’ve built our reputation on quality, reliability, and long-term relationships. As we look to the future, we’re focused on continuing to innovate, invest in our people, and deliver high-quality electrical solutions across every sector we serve.”
As Callaghan Electrical enters its fourth decade in business, the company remains committed to delivering best-in-class electrical solutions while continuing to grow sustainably and invest in innovation, safety, and workforce development.
“We’ve a strong order book, a growing team, and a clear strategic direction – our future looks bright and we are so proud to be one of Cavan’s – and Ireland’s – long-standing success stories”, added Callaghan.
