Thérapie Clinic expands in Midlands with €500,000 Mullingar opening

Ireland’s largest medical aesthetics group continues rapid domestic growth as demand for injectables surges.

Thérapie Clinic will open a new Mullingar clinic on 22 January, its second location in Co Westmeath, following what the company describes as a marked increase in demand for aesthetic treatments across the Midlands.

The family‑owned Irish group has invested €500,000 in the new Pearse Street premises.

“We are proud to make affordable, accessible aesthetics available to even more people around the country”

It is the 34th location in Ireland and forms part of a broader expansion that has seen the company reach 84 clinics in Ireland, the UK and the US over two decades.

The Mullingar site will initially create four roles for aesthetic doctors and beauty professionals, with further hires expected as demand grows. The company says the clinic has been designed to deliver what it calls high‑quality, medically led aesthetic services at accessible prices.

Phillip McGlade, chief executive, said the company had seen “steadily increasing demand” at its nearby Athlone clinic. This, he said, “confirmed that there was a clear need for a second location in Westmeath”.

He added that the new site would “provide additional availability to our existing loyal customers across the entire midlands region” while also serving new clients in Mullingar.

Focus on injectables

Thérapie Clinic says the Mullingar site will offer its most in‑demand treatments, including anti‑wrinkle injectables, polynucleotides and Botox, alongside laser hair removal for men and women.

The company’s skincare line, Skin Theøry, will also be available.

The opening comes weeks after Thérapie launched what it says is Ireland’s first subscription service for anti‑wrinkle injections.

The model, priced from €49 per month plus a €99 fee, includes three annual treatments across three facial areas. The company positions the offer as a response to concerns over unregulated cosmetic injectables in the Irish market.

Expansion strategy

Founded more than 20 years ago, Thérapie has delivered more than 10 million treatments and now employs over 200 doctors and medical professionals across its international network. It continues to pursue growth in both Ireland and overseas markets, citing sustained interest in non‑surgical cosmetic procedures.

McGlade said the Mullingar opening was “another step in Thérapie Clinic’s strategic growth journey” and reflected rising interest in injectables.

“We are proud to make affordable, accessible aesthetics available to even more people around the country,” he said.

The company plans to continue promoting what it calls medically supervised, competitively priced treatments, ranging from cosmetic injectables and skin therapies to body sculpting and women’s health services.
