Thérapie Clinic invests €500K in new Kilkenny location

Thérapie Clinic is continuing its regional expansion across Ireland with 6 new jobs generated as it opens a Kilkenny clinic.

Medical aesthetic clinic group Thérapie Clinic has confirmed a €500,000 investment to open a new state-of-the-art clinic in Kilkenny this June, creating six initial jobs with potential for further employment as the business grows.

The Irish-owned company’s newest location will be situated in McDonagh Junction Shopping Centre, marking Thérapie’s 29th clinic in Ireland and its third in the South-East region, following successful operations in Waterford and Wexford.

“We’re excited to create new employment opportunities in the area and always endeavour to raise the bar for professionals in the aesthetics industry”

“Kilkenny will mark the opening of the 29th Thérapie Clinic in Ireland and our third in the sunny South East,” said Phillip McGlade, CEO of Thérapie Clinic.

“We have built up a loyal customer base across the region and want to expand our accessibility to even more clients in such a fantastic part of the country. We have invested half a million euro into the Kilkenny clinic, which will include four treatment rooms and clients can expect a variety of our most popular treatments to be available.”

The new facility aims to bring affordable, high-quality aesthetic treatments to local residents. Services will include laser hair removal for both women and men, anti-wrinkle injectables including polynucleotides, and access to the company’s innovative skincare range, Skin Theøry.

Founded over 20 years ago, Thérapie Clinic now operates more than 75 locations throughout Ireland, the UK, and the US, having delivered over 10 million treatments. The family-owned business employs a team of more than 200 doctors and medical experts.

McGlade added: “We’re excited to create new employment opportunities in the area and always endeavour to raise the bar for professionals in the aesthetics industry. We’re excited to open the doors this June and bring quality doctor-led aesthetic treatments to the people of Kilkenny.”

The company specialises in a range of non-surgical treatments for skin and body, including laser hair removal, skin treatments, anti-wrinkle injections, cosmetic injections, body sculpting, and women’s health, with treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

Jobs created will be for both aspiring and experienced beauty and aesthetic industry professionals, with the clinic set to open its doors in June 2025.
