Amid rising demand for aesthetic treatments scaling Irish business Thérapie expands in Dublin.
Thérapie Clinic has revealed plans to open a new clinic in Blackrock, Dublin, following a €500,000 investment aimed at meeting growing demand for injectable and non-surgical treatments on the city’s southside.
Opening on 11 December the clinic in Blackrock Village Centre will be the company’s 33rd in Ireland and its fourth on Dublin’s southside, joining Carrickmines, Dundrum and Tallaght.
“The demand for aesthetic treatments across our locations on the southside of Dublin had been growing steadily in recent months”
The expansion underscores a surge in demand for aesthetic procedures, particularly injectables such as Botox and Polynucleotides, which have become increasingly popular among Irish consumers.
Accessible aesthetics
Phillip McGlade, chief executive of Thérapie Clinic, said the decision to open in Blackrock was driven by sustained growth across existing southside locations.
“The demand for aesthetic treatments across our locations on the southside of Dublin had been growing steadily in recent months, which confirmed that there was a clear need for a new clinic in a nearby location to support the demand,” he said.
The new site will initially create four roles for aesthetic doctors and beauty professionals, with further recruitment expected as the clinic scales. Clients will have access to the group’s full range of services, including laser hair removal and advanced skincare products under its Skin Theøry brand.
Founded more than two decades ago, the Irish-owned business now operates 83 clinics across Ireland, the UK and the US, and has delivered over 10 million treatments. Its team includes more than 200 medical professionals, positioning the company as a leading provider of non-surgical cosmetic procedures in Europe.
McGlade said the Blackrock clinic would serve not only local residents but also neighbouring communities such as Monkstown and Booterstown, with convenient access via public transport.
“With a focus on injectable treatments, alongside our wider range of services, we’re proud to make affordable, accessible aesthetics available to even more people around the country,” he added.
