New consumer technology and electronics expo TechLabs will take place in Dublin’s RDS on 18 October.
Positioning itself as Ireland’s answer to Las Vegas’ world-renowned CES tech show TechLabs aims to transform the RDS in to a hub of innovation.
Created by the team behind GamerFest, Ireland’s largest gaming and esports festival, TechLabs is expected to attract more than 10,000 tech enthusiasts eager to experience the latest advancements in consumer electronics and smart technology from leading global brands.

With 81% of Irish households now embracing smart technology (according to European retailer Reichelt Elektronik), TechLabs arrives at the perfect moment for tech-savvy shoppers seeking hands-on experience with cutting-edge devices.
Getting ahead of Black Friday
The free-to-attend event aims to offer a unique opportunity for consumers to trial new products ahead of Black Friday sales and the Christmas shopping season.
TechLabs will showcase innovations across five specialised zones:
- Urban Mobility Zone: Featuring next-generation transportation including high-performance cars, motorbikes, electric vehicles, drones, e-scooters, and e-bikes
- Health and Fitness Tech: Showcasing the latest wearable health trackers, smart fitness equipment, and personalized healthcare solutions

- Connectivity Hub: Offering hands-on experiences with the newest smartphones, tablets, smart glasses, and ultra-fast 5G connectivity solutions
- Computing and Gaming: Demonstrating cutting-edge PCs, high-performance laptops, gaming consoles, and immersive VR experiences
Exclusive product launches
A highlight of the event will be the Innovation Stage, where visitors can witness live product demonstrations, exclusive launches, and expert reviews of the latest devices. This platform promises to showcase what’s new and next in redefining smart technology.
