Tata creates 200 new jobs in Donegal

Tata Consultancy Services embarks on a recruitment drive that will bring its total Letterkenny headcount to more than 1,000 people.

One of the North West’s largest employers Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has revealed plans to create 200 new jobs in Letterkenny.

TCS established its direct presence in Letterkenny in November 2020, following its acquisition of Pramerica Systems. Since then, TCS has continued to invest in equipping its employees with the latest skills, and in building out a Global Delivery Centre from where it is servicing more than 25 global and local customers.

The business currently employs over 1,000 people in Letterkenny across a range of highly skilled tech-related roles.

As the business continues to grow its Technical and Operations teams in Letterkenny, TCS is looking for people who are enthusiastic and passionate about Customer Service and Technical Innovation to further support TCS’ customers on their digital transformation journey.

Speaking about an upcoming Open Evening, Andrea McBride, head of the TCS Global Delivery Centre in Letterkenny said: “We are creating high-value employment opportunities across a variety of roles and disciplines, including cybersecurity, cloud services, project management, data analytics, customer service and IT helpdesk.

At the Careers Open Evening prospective recruits will have the opportunity to speak with IT and Customer Services Specialists to learn more about the roles and opportunities available in the TCS Global Delivery Centre.

The team is actively recruiting for over 200 positions at all levels from recent graduates to experienced professionals across six key areas:

  • Cloud Computing and Engineering
  • Customer Services and Back Office
  • Cyber Security
  • Data Analytics
  • Digital Marketing and Design
  • Software Engineering

It also has IT and Application Support opportunities for people with language skills in German, Spanish, Italian, French, Polish, Dutch, and Hungarian.
