Spanish Point accelerates UK expansion on back of AI growth

Irish software group Spanish Point posts 31% revenue growth as it deepens role in enterprise AI transformation.

Spanish Point Technologies, the Dublin-based software engineering group, is expanding its UK operations.

The move comes after the business posted compound annual revenue growth of 31% over the two years to the end of its 2025 financial year, reflecting rising demand from large organisations for cloud and artificial intelligence services.

“Our UK expansion reflects long-term investment in our engineering capability, IP-led product strategy and deep Microsoft expertise”

The company, founded in 2005, said the UK expansion is anchored in a strengthened partnership with Microsoft and its role in delivering Microsoft’s AI Transformation Programme.

Selected by Microsoft

Spanish Point has been selected as one of three UK partners authorised to deliver the programme, which is designed to help enterprises modernise data platforms and develop large-scale AI applications.

The 20‑day programme includes an assessment of a customer’s data readiness, workshops to identify potential AI use cases, an evaluation of commercial viability and a proposed implementation roadmap, alongside an estimated return on investment. Microsoft funding support is also assessed as part of the process.

John Corley, chief executive of Spanish Point Technologies, said the move reflected long-term investment rather than short-term market opportunity.

“Our UK expansion reflects long-term investment in our engineering capability, IP-led product strategy and deep Microsoft expertise,” Corley said.

“As organisations scale AI and cloud initiatives, they need partners with proven experience in delivering complex enterprise programmes. With dedicated UK leadership and a strong track record in digital transformation, we are well positioned for the next phase of growth.”

Spanish Point’s client base includes the Business Growth Fund, Canada’s Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers, and field service management company Totalmobile. The company now operates across 13 markets in Europe and North America, having broadened both its geographic footprint and its range of enterprise customers over recent years.

Nick Hedderman, UK and Ireland channel lead at Microsoft, said Spanish Point had demonstrated an ability to turn emerging technologies into practical outcomes for customers.

“Spanish Point Technologies combines deep engineering expertise with innovative solutions to help organisations translate cloud and AI investments into real business outcomes,” he said. “Their expanded UK presence, backed by local leadership and delivery capability, means customers can modernise core systems, scale AI initiatives and accelerate digital transformation with confidence.”

Opportunities in digital transformation

The UK digital transformation market is forecast to grow at a compound annual rate of almost 28% through to 2030, according to industry estimates, as organisations invest in AI, advanced analytics and cloud platforms to automate processes and improve decision‑making. Analysts expect spending to be driven by sectors such as financial services, professional services and infrastructure-intensive industries.

Spanish Point positions itself as an end‑to‑end delivery partner, offering cloud infrastructure, data engineering, AI and machine learning services, Microsoft 365 Copilot deployments and governance and compliance tools built on Microsoft Purview.

Over the past two years the company has added 50 employees, bringing total headcount to 110, and has expanded its product portfolio through internally developed intellectual property. It said further investment in research and development, talent and long-term partner relationships would underpin its continued growth in the UK market.
