PRM Assist flies high with €500k raise

Irish aviation software firm targets global growth as airports invest in real time assistance tools.

PRM Assist, the Dublin-based aviation technology company that builds software for airport passenger‑assistance operations, has raised €500,000 in fresh investment to accelerate expansion into new markets and support further product development.

The funding round is backed by Enterprise Ireland and tech investor Paul McKeon.

“We can accelerate our mission to improve the passenger journey for people requiring assistance and set new standards for accessible aviation operations”

PRM Assist said the capital will be used to grow its engineering and customer‑success teams, advance real‑time operational features and explore the integration of artificial intelligence and machine learning into its platform.

Passenger assistance technology

PRM Assist’s system is designed to replace the manual processes used by airports to manage services for passengers with reduced mobility. Its tools coordinate live tasking, track passenger flows and generate regulatory

compliance reports.

The technology is already in use at 15 airports across Europe and the Middle East, and the company is also partnering with airlines to strengthen accessible‑aviation workflows.

Founded in 2021, PRM Assist employs ten people between Dublin and Dubai and plans to increase headcount to fifteen by the end of next year as demand from operators and carriers grows.

Conor Halpin, co‑founder and director of business development, said the investment marked “a major milestone” for the business.

He added: “With the support of both Paul and Enterprise Ireland, we can accelerate our mission to improve the passenger journey for people requiring assistance and set new standards for accessible aviation operations.”

Investor Paul McKeon said PRM Assist was addressing “a critical operational need in the aviation sector” and that its technology “delivers real value to airports and airlines”. He praised the team’s focus on efficiency and improving the experience for passengers.

Enterprise Ireland’s head of digital technologies, Amanda Ward, said the company exemplified the type of Irish innovation that can scale internationally.

“PRM Assist’s novel and innovative platform provides an effective approach for airlines to manage real‑time assistance for passengers with reduced mobility in busy and high‑traffic airport settings,” she said. “Enterprise Ireland is delighted to support their growth as they expand into new markets, providing accessible aviation for all.”
