Principal33 launches Irish operations to support enterprise growth and opportunities in sustainability.
European IT consultancy Principal33 has formally launched its Irish operations, responding to increased demand from enterprise clients across regulated sectors.
The company has already deployed 32 professionals on major projects in Ireland and plans to expand its local workforce to 50 by year-end.
“We are genuinely excited and confident that what is unfolding in Ireland is not only aligned with our expectations, but a clear confirmation that our strategy is the right one”
The move marks a strategic shift from remote service delivery to a more embedded presence within Ireland’s technology ecosystem, with projected annual revenues of €4 m to €5m.
Founded in 2018, Principal33 is headquartered in Europe and operates offices in Romania, Spain and Germany. The firm employs more than 250 IT specialists and provides end-to-end digital transformation services, supporting enterprise clients in navigating complex software development projects.
Strategic market
Ireland’s status as Europe’s primary English-speaking hub post-Brexit has positioned it as a key strategic market for principal33. The consultancy aims to become a preferred partner for multinationals operating in and through Ireland, particularly in sectors such as utilities, life sciences, finance and transport. Its current Irish client base includes companies in finance, pharmaceuticals and aviation.
“We are genuinely excited and confident that what is unfolding in Ireland is not only aligned with our expectations, but a clear confirmation that our strategy is the right one,” said Ignacio Santiago, CEO of Principal33.
“The positive progress we’re seeing, both from our existing clients and those we’re currently engaging with, reinforces our belief in the significant growth potential ahead.”
Sustainability is a core focus for Principal33, with increasing emphasis on digital tools that enhance operational efficiency and support more sustainable workflows.
Paul Keegan, chief sales officer and head of Operations in Ireland, said the company is committed to deepening its relationships with clients, partners and talent across Ireland as it scales its presence.
“Our expansion into Ireland reflects both a strong demand from existing clients and our commitment to long-term growth in this market. With our Ireland team, supported by our nearshore delivery centres in Spain, we offer an unmatched combination of quality, cost-efficiency and speed.”
