Leapifai launches AI-powered tax compliance platform, Targets €500,000 to expand into UK market.
Irish fintech start-up Leapifai has launched a new AI-powered digital tax copilot platform aimed at transforming how tax professionals navigate complex regulations.
The platform delivers instant, statutory-backed tax insights and automates research processes, enabling accountants and financial advisors to serve more clients with greater efficiency.
“Staying compliant in a dynamic tax environment requires access to the most current information”
Founded by Dr Beibei Flynn, a Chartered Tax Advisor with a PhD in machine learning, Leapifai combines deep domain expertise with advanced AI capabilities. Flynn has led large-scale AI deployments across finance and technology sectors for over two decades.
“With the launch of the Leapifai platform we have created those extra sets of hands and brainpower that tax practitioners have always wished was within reach when needed to cut through complex tax codes and provide insights and illustrative examples in seconds,” said Flynn.

Leapifai’s SaaS platform integrates frequent updates from trusted sources including Revenue, the Irish Statute Book, Courts Service, and the Tax Appeals Commission. It covers all major Irish tax categories—Personal Tax, VAT, Corporation Tax, Capital Gains Tax, Capital Acquisitions Tax, and Stamp Duty—and includes a built-in case management system that automatically stores and organises user queries.
“Our multilayer authorisation, authentication and encryption platform leverages proprietary technology to analyse and synthesise submitted queries to deliver clear, detailed and practical responses, matched to the most relevant citations, that tax practitioners can immediately apply,” Flynn said.

The platform is built on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and incorporates enterprise-grade security features such as IAM Identity Centre for authentication, CloudTrail for audit trails, and Cognito for user-level access control. It also maintains isolated environments for development and production to safeguard sensitive data.
Leapifai has secured €250,000 in funding to date, including €100,000 from Enterprise Ireland’s Pre-Seed Start Fund. The company is now raising an additional €500,000 to expand its platform to include UK tax codes and accelerate sales growth in Ireland and the UK.
Leapifai is currently participating in the AI Ecosystem Accelerator Programme delivered by NovaUCD in partnership with CeADAR, Ireland’s Centre for Applied AI and the European Digital Innovation Hub for AI.
