Bank of Ireland has appointed June Butler as head of Corporate and SME Banking.
Butler joins from the Strategic Banking Corporation of Ireland (SBCI), where she served as CEO and led the organisation in delivering funding solutions to Irish small and medium-sized enterprises.

She previously held the role of head of SME Banking and Sectors at Bank of Ireland until 2021.
In her new position, Butler will lead a team of 200 colleagues serving 3,000 companies across Ireland.
Sustainable business
Butler’s return brings continuity to Bank of Ireland’s SME strategy, with deep institutional knowledge and external perspective from SBCI.
Her responsibilities will include overseeing relationships with private businesses, multinationals, and publicly quoted companies, as well as leading the bank’s foreign direct investment (FDI) team.
John Feeney, chief executive of Bank of Ireland’s Corporate and Commercial Banking division, welcomed the appointment.
