Jamie Heaslip – ‘Don’t be put off by failure. Everyone fails’

Jamie Heaslip is best known for his bruising performances while wearing Leinster and Ireland jerseys, but he’s also an entrepreneur and investor.

Here he talks about the importance of setting daily goals in business and bringing the core team-building skills he has learned on the pitch to play in the work environment.

What motivates him is his passion for success. “You should follow your passions.” But he’s also not afraid of failure.

“The best piece of advice I ever got was from my father,” he says. “Hard work and discipline beats talent every time. Don’t be put off by failure. Everyone fails, it’s how you learn from it and move forward that counts.”
