Irish cybersecurity group Integrity360 acquires Canadian firm to establish regional hub in Calgary.
Integrity360 has acquired Canadian cybersecurity services provider Advantus360, marking its first foothold in the North American market as part of an ongoing global expansion strategy. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Advantus360, founded in 2015 and based in Calgary, Alberta, serves enterprise clients across Canada and the United States, including companies in energy, transportation, manufacturing, financial services and retail.
“This acquisition represents a significant milestone for the group as it gives us a presence in the strategically important North American market”
The firm is known for its expertise in cybersecurity consulting, architecture design, risk assessment and remediation, as well as deployment and training.
The company has a long-standing partnership with Palo Alto Networks and holds multiple accreditations for its solutions. It also works with technologies from Cisco, HPE, KnowBe4, Algosec and Mimecast. Alongside consulting and integration services, Advantus360 offers managed services, including technical support and Managed Detection and Response (MDR).
Regional ambition
Integrity360 plans to develop Advantus360 into a regional hub covering Canada and the US. A new Security Operations Centre (SOC) will be established in Calgary during 2026, complementing Integrity360’s existing SOC network in Dublin, Stockholm, Rome, Sofia, Madrid, Cape Town and Johannesburg. Additional European locations in Brussels and Paris are also scheduled to open this year.
Advantus360 clients will gain access to Integrity360’s broader portfolio, which includes cyber risk and assurance, 24/7 incident response and forensics, PCI compliance, operational technology consulting and managed services such as Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM) and advanced XDR/MDR solutions. Integrity360’s services have been recognised five times in Gartner market guides, most recently for incident response and forensics.
Ian Brown, executive chairman of Integrity360, said: “We are delighted to welcome Regan, Stefan and Marci, and the entire Advantus360 team. This acquisition represents a significant milestone for the group as it gives us a presence in the strategically important North American market.
“Advantus360 has built an enviable reputation for excellence in cybersecurity consulting and solutions, particularly in deploying Palo Alto Networks technologies. We look forward to working closely with the team to expand operations and capability over the coming years.”
Regan and Stefan Herbst, directors of Advantus360, said in a joint statement: “This is an exciting moment for us. Advantus360 has flourished over the past decade thanks to the support of our customers and employees. With the backing of Ian and the considerable resources and expertise of Integrity360, we are thrilled about what we can achieve for our customers and employees as we expand across Canada and the United States.”
Business lessons:
- Strategic Market Entry Matters
Integrity360’s acquisition of Advantus360 shows that entering a new market through an established local player can accelerate growth and reduce risk. Partnerships and acquisitions often provide immediate credibility and customer access.
- Specialisation Builds Value
Advantus360’s deep expertise in Palo Alto Networks solutions and cybersecurity consulting made it an attractive acquisition target. Businesses that develop niche capabilities and strong vendor relationships can significantly increase their strategic value.
- Managed Services Are a Growth Engine
The emphasis on Managed Detection and Response (MDR), XDR, and SOC expansion reflects the growing demand for outsourced cybersecurity services. Companies that invest in scalable managed solutions can tap into recurring revenue streams and long-term client relationships.
- Global Expansion Requires Infrastructure
Integrity360’s plan to add a new SOC in Calgary underlines the importance of local infrastructure when scaling internationally. Physical presence and regional hubs are critical for service delivery, compliance, and customer trust.
- Leadership Communication Drives Confidence
Clear statements from executives, like Ian Brown and the Herbst brothers, reinforce trust among stakeholders. Transparent communication during major transitions helps maintain customer confidence and employee morale.
