9 food firms selected to Grow with ALDI

Nationwide rollout offers emerging Irish food brands a major retail platform.

ALDI has selected nine finalists for its Growth with ALDI 2026 programme.

Following a competitive process, customers will be able to discover and enjoy 18 products from some of Ireland’s most exciting emerging food brands.

The products are set to hit shelves across all 167 stores across Ireland from 25 June for a limited in-store trial.

From artisan sauces and condiments to protein-packed snacks, convenient meal solutions and premium pantry favourites, the range reflects the innovation, quality and entrepreneurial spirit driving Ireland’s thriving food and drink sector.

The in-store trial represents a significant milestone for the finalists, providing valuable nationwide exposure and the opportunity to introduce their products to thousands of ALDI customers.

Following the trial period, one of the suppliers will be awarded the opportunity to continue supplying ALDI stores, helping them grow their businesses and reach even more consumers.

The quality, creativity and innovation on display this year has been exceptional, and each of these finalists represents the very best of Ireland’s thriving food and drink sector,” said Rachael O’Connor, Buying director with ALDI.

“We are proud to support their journey and look forward to introducing their products to customers nationwide as part of this year’s programme. We would encourage shoppers to support these local businesses and take the opportunity to discover their favourites in store from June 25th.”

Run in partnership with Bord Bia, the programme is now in its ninth year and continues to celebrate the very best of Irish food innovation while giving customers the opportunity to discover new and exciting products. To date, ALDI has invested over €11.5 million in the initiative, reinforcing its strong support for homegrown businesses and high-quality, great-value Irish products.
