50 new jobs as FutureRange moves into Northern Ireland

FutureRange’s EOS Systems acquisition marks launch of all island expansion plan with up to 50 new jobs expected.

FutureRange has made its first move into Northern Ireland through the acquisition of Belfast-based EOS Systems, marking the launch of the Dublin company’s all‑island growth plan as demand rises for secure and resilient managed IT services.

The deal expands FutureRange’s footprint beyond the Republic at a moment when organisations across Ireland are investing more heavily in cyber security, cloud modernisation and risk‑focused technology governance. The company said it expects to create as many as 50 jobs over the next two years as it scales operations and builds additional capability across both markets.

“Organisations are under growing pressure to operate securely while still moving forward with cloud, data and AI initiatives”

EOS Systems, founded in 2002, provides managed IT services, Microsoft solutions and network infrastructure to small and medium‑sized businesses and public sector bodies throughout Northern Ireland. It has built a reputation for dependable service and long-lasting client relationships, grounded in practical, responsive day‑to‑day support.

Security-first business

FutureRange positions itself as a security‑first managed services partner, offering cyber protection, cloud and infrastructure resilience, and structured guidance on data and AI adoption. Bringing the two companies together creates a combined business with more than five decades of operating experience.

The acquisition reflects shifting expectations among clients, who increasingly want providers that can support secure daily operations while helping them modernise technology in a controlled way. Northern Ireland has been experiencing similar shifts in demand, making expansion northwards a logical step for the Dublin company.

EOS Systems will continue to operate from Belfast under its existing leadership team, led by managing director Peter Brown.

Danny McEntee, managing director of FutureRange, said the move followed a lengthy period of consideration. “This was not a decision we rushed into. Expanding our presence across the island of Ireland was a significant step for us, and it mattered that we partnered with a business that genuinely shared our focus on long‑term client relationships and service quality,” he said.

“Organisations are under growing pressure to operate securely while still moving forward with cloud, data and AI initiatives. This acquisition allows us to extend our approach across the island while continuing to invest in our people and our capability.”

He added that the deal marks the start of a new phase of development. “This strengthens our all‑island presence and provides a strong platform for further investment. Over the next two years, we expect to grow our team significantly as we support clients through increasingly complex technology and security challenges.”

Brown said the combination preserves continuity for customers while creating room for growth. “EOS Systems has always been built around people and trusted relationships. Our clients rely on us to keep their operations running smoothly day to day,” he said.

“Becoming part of FutureRange allows us to build on that foundation with greater depth of expertise and a stronger security‑led operating model, while keeping the local presence and service approach our clients value. There are real opportunities ahead as the combined business continues to grow across the island.”

For EOS Systems’ existing clients, the acquisition will widen access to specialist knowledge and strengthen service resilience while maintaining familiar relationships and operational practice.

FutureRange said the transaction marks a significant step in its all‑island strategy and will support continued investment in people, technical capability and well‑governed service delivery as customer needs evolve.
