Kerry headquartered firm Dairymaster has unveiled its latest herd management technology MooMonitor 360 at this year’s National Ploughing Championships.
The new platform is designed to bring together health, fertility, milking performance and activity data in a single connected system.
Built on more than four decades of dairy technology expertise, MooMonitor 360 expands on Dairymaster’s existing MooMonitor offering, moving beyond activity monitoring and heat detection to provide farmers with a broader view of herd performance through one integrated platform.
The new technology arrives at a time when dairy farms are increasingly relying on automation, software and connected technologies, while also navigating labour shortages, rising operating costs and the challenges of managing larger and more complex herds.

A complete view
At the centre of the platform is DairyVue 360, a newly developed software system featuring a redesigned dashboard, advanced reporting tools and intelligent analytics.
The software is designed to help farmers interpret information gathered across their dairy operations, identify trends and take action where required.
Rather than viewing individual datasets in isolation, farmers can access herd activity, health, fertility, milking and drafting information in one place, enabling a more comprehensive understanding of herd performance and supporting more effective day-to-day decision-making.
Data farming
According to Dairymaster CEO John Harty, the industry’s challenge is no longer gathering information but finding meaningful ways to use it.
“Modern dairy farming generates more information than ever before, but information alone isn’t enough. The focus with MooMonitor 360 is on making that information useful.”
He said the new platform provides farmers with a clearer overview of what is happening across their herds.

Fertility management is a key focus of the new system. MooMonitor 360 gives farmers enhanced visibility of important reproductive performance indicators, including submission rates, conception rates and pregnancy performance. The platform also allows users to monitor fertility progress over time and identify opportunities to improve breeding outcomes.
An additional feature, optimal insemination graphing, has been developed to help farmers identify the best insemination windows and support more informed breeding decisions.
