Deal strengthens regional presence as demand grows for integrated tax and audit expertise.
CSG Accountants & Advisors has merged with ORM Accountants in Killarney, marking a significant step in its strategy to deepen its presence in Munster.
The combined firm will operate under the CSG name and employ 70 staff across offices in Tralee and Killarney, serving 2,250 clients in Kerry and the wider region.
“Our clients value the fact that we understand their businesses, their families and communities,”
Chris Murray, managing partner at CSG, said the move enhances the firm’s ability to deliver specialist tax, audit and advisory services while maintaining local relationships.
Growth opportunities
“ORM clients will continue to be supported by the same trusted team in Killarney,” he said. “What this merger does is strengthen the offering behind those relationships. Businesses gain access to highly skilled specialists wherever they need them to support growth, succession and investment.”
ORM, founded in 2017 by John Mannix and Michael Brouder, has built a reputation for combining cloud-based technology with personal service. Mannix, who will join CSG as a director, said the merger reflects a natural progression for the firm.
“Our clients value the fact that we understand their businesses, their families and communities,” he said. “By joining CSG, we are enhancing our ability to support clients in a rapidly changing business environment, including helping them identify and leverage opportunities arising from the evolving technology landscape.”
CSG said the deal forms part of a broader plan to build a national network while retaining a local touch. The firm sees growth opportunities across sectors such as hospitality, tourism, retail, agriculture and professional services.
“Our role is to stand beside those businesses as a long-term partner helping them navigate change, manage risk and plan for the future,” Murray added.
The merger underscores rising demand for integrated advisory support that blends technical expertise with accessible, hands-on service.
CSG’s ambition, Murray said, is to ensure every client receives best-in-class advice backed by national resources and local understanding.
