A young Dublin technology firm Xtremepush has achieved a major breakthrough by being recognised by global IT consultancy Gartner as a marketing technology to watch.

Xtremepush has been named in the 2019 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Mobile Marketing Platforms.

Gartner is one of the world’s most recognised IT consultancy firms and the Magic Quadrant is an independent report published yearly.

Many enterprises around the globe rely on its advice to make an informed decision when choosing a service provider.

Multichannel marketing hub

The Irish company has been recognised for the strength of its enterprise digital marketing platform and Gartner has selected it to sit alongside companies like IBM, Oracle, Salesforce, Adobe, Swrve and Vibes for the potency of its tech.

In the Magic Quadrant report, Gartner noted: “Xtremepush is a niche player. The company positions its solution as a purpose-built mobile marketing platform with aspirations to become an MMH (multichannel marketing hub).

“Xtremepush’s platform highlights real-time engagement and message delivery, and supports major mobile messaging capabilities as well as real-time analytics. Marketers in digital commerce, travel and hospitality, financial services, and online gambling should consider Xtremepush.”

Ranelagh-based Xtremepush was founded in 2014 by Tommy Kearns and Dr Kevin Collins. Last year the company acquired UK firm Emailcenter for an undisclosed sum, a move that has enabled the Dublin firm to double in size.
