TELUS acquisition of Lionbridge to create 30 Mayo jobs

Technology giant TELUS International’s acquisition of Lionbridge AI in Ballina, Mayo, is to result in 30 new jobs being created.

Lionbridge AI, has been based in Ballina for more than 20 years and employs up to 170 people.

It was acquired in December 2020 by TELUS International, a digital customer experience (CX) innovator that designs, builds and delivers next-gen solutions for global and disruptive brands.

TELUS International employ 56,000 people across the world. The Ballina facility is now the third Irish operation joining facilities in Dublin and Cork.
