Irish recruitment services company Recruiters has been named a ‘National Winner’ in one of the world’s largest business competitions, the 2019 European Business Awards.
Recruiters was recognised as National Winner in the category of companies with turnover up to €25m.
Founded in 2006, Recruiters is a privately-owned Irish recruitment services company headquartered in Dublin. The company ranks top positions in Ireland on both Google Reviews and independent review site Trustpilot.
“Our leadership team are focusing on 2020 and a Europe post-Brexit and the opportunities and challenges that this will present to our industry”
The European Business Awards is one of the world’s largest and most prestigious cross border, cross sector business competitions. Its primary purpose is to support and develop a stronger, more successful, innovative and ethical business community in Europe, as it believes businesses play a key role in addressing major issues faced across the world.
“This is a significant achievement and Recruiters is an outstanding leader in their field,” said Adrian Tripp, CEO of the European Business Awards. “To be chosen as a National Winner means you show great innovation, ethics and success and are one of the best businesses in Europe. We wish Recruiters the best of luck in the final round.”
Ones to watch
Recruiters was chosen from 2,753 businesses named as ‘Ones to Watch’ in a list of business excellence published in July and selected as a National Winner by a panel of independent judges including business leaders, politicians and academics. It will now go on to represent Ireland in the final stage of the competition.
“We are delighted that our efforts have now been recognised, not only in Ireland by our National Recruitment Federation awards, but also at a European level by the European Business Awards,” said Gerard Doyle, managing director of Recruiters.
Doyle said that Recruiters is not just dedicated to its own business objectives but to the recruitment industry as a whole.
“Our leadership team are focusing on 2020 and a Europe post-Brexit and the opportunities and challenges that this will present to our industry,” said Doyle.
He said the company also strives to make a positive impact outside of the industry with its corporate social responsibility strategy.
In 2019 Doyle joined the People and Advisory Board of GOAL. “We are partnering very closely with GOAL and our entire management team have committed to supporting me on practical projects, including GOAL’s employer branding and recruitment strategy. In November, we will travel to Uganda with GOAL to deliver training to the local managers on competency-based interviewing,” he said.
“We are delighted to be in a position to use our experience in talent acquisition to support such an important cause.”
Recruiters will now head to Warsaw, Poland, on 3 and 4 December to complete a final round of judging and attend both a Summit to engage in business issues, and the Gala Ceremony where the overall category winners for the 2019 European Business Awards will be announced.
