Fast-scaling Dublin edtech firm Olive Group to bring virtual learning to 2,000 training providers and colleges in UK and globally.
Irish edtech company Olive Group has signed a strategic five-year partnership with the UK’s National Open College Network (NOCN Group) geared towards launching a new best-in-class virtual learning platform, vLearn.
vLearn will launch in January 2021 with market-leading virtual support materials for apprentices across some of the most popular Apprenticeship Standards.

The platform will then be rolled out to the wider NOCN Group as part of a 12-month project to deliver unrivalled digital support to customers. Key features of the platform will include digital materials to support the delivery of qualifications, virtual classroom and one-to-many online exam proctoring.
The partnership will bring virtual learning services to over 2000 training providers and colleges globally including the UK and international markets.
Founded and headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, Olive Group produces low-cost, high-end online training courses to help more people access affordable education and to help businesses onboard, train and upskill staff.
Since its establishment in 2006, the company has trained more than two million people across the world and created digital learning content in 27 languages. Employing 600 people across 12 countries, Olive Group produces world-class digital content using the latest technological innovations to engage learners and save businesses 85% of the costs associated with the delivery of classroom-based training courses.

The NOCN Group educational charity offers a range of integrated services including endpoint assessment, regulated UK and international qualifications, access to Higher Education, short courses, assessment services, as well as consultancy and research services. NOCN is a top ten awarding organisation regulated by the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual), offering hundreds of cross-sectoral qualifications from entry level courses to level 7. Subjects covered in NOCN’s expansive catalogue of course material include STEM, business admin, construction and financial services. NOCN’s Skills for Life and employability qualifications are designed.
