Luminaries from the world’s entertainment industry will descend on Dublin for the Mediacon Global Entertainment Summit from September 13-14 in City Hall.
Over 400 delegates from 20 countries are expected to attend the conference, creating an opportunity for Irish content creators to network and showcase their talents to a global audience of industry heavyweights.
The two-day event promises attendees face time with media buyers from the likes of Sky, the BBC, Chanel 4 and HBO to name a few.
“While Ireland has a strong arts heritage and creative culture, we have not succeeded in developing a reputation for the delivery of world-class television content,” says Lesley O’Connor, the founder of Mediacon. “We need to look at a strategy for the development of internationally marketable content for global television and digital audiences.”
As well as networking and pitching opportunities, the main conference will be complemented by keynote talks, panels and interviews with the main speakers, as well as workshops, roundtables and master classes.
