Dublin firm Humm pioneers installments-based e-commerce globally.
Dublin e-payments platform Humm has signed its first major global partnership with e-commerce retailer The Hut Group (THG) plc.
This latest partnership will enable customers across Ireland to use the alternative credit provider as a payment option across THG’s own brands. These include allsole, ESPA, Glossybox, MyBag, Coggles, IWOOT, TheHut.com, Lookfantastic and Myprotein.
“Over the last two years, the exponential growth of e-commerce has demonstrated that, above all else, consumers are increasingly seeking a convenient, accessible and secure purchasing experience”
Humm will integrate with THG’s end-to-end technology platform THG Ingenuity allowing brands to offer Humm’s interest-free payment options ‘pay in 5’ and ‘pay in 12’ internationally.
Using this system consumers are able to make big ticket purchases through the platform and pay in installments.
The multi-market agreement will be rolled out across Ireland, the UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand enabling consumers to avail of Humm payment products.
“As we continue to grow our expansion from Dublin and enhance our presence across multiple markets, we are thrilled to be able to bring our global reach to THG brands, partners and consumers,” said Humm UK and Ireland CEO PJ Byrne.
Byrne said that the new realm of instalment-based e-commerce will be a game-changer for consumers.
“Over the last two years, the exponential growth of e-commerce has demonstrated that, above all else, consumers are increasingly seeking a convenient, accessible and secure purchasing experience – and Humm’s suite of payment solutions perfectly complements these objectives.
“For retailers who are leveraging the power of e-commerce, Humm’s products are tailored to fit the requirements of each individual partner, and their customers. Coupled with the considerable expansion of online marketplaces has been a greater demand for split payment solutions.
“Humm’s integrated technology allows retailers of all sizes to provide these options to their customers while helpings businesses to increase their cart sizes which in turn drives sales.”
