Granite Digital is to create 50 new jobs across its Dublin, Cork and Galway offices to grow its team to 100 over the next three years.

The digital agency has experienced significant growth lately, more than doubling its revenue over the past three years with plans to double it again to €10 million by 2022.

Granite Digital is investing €2.5m in the company to continue to grow its 1,000-strong customer base, with clients from a range of sectors, including Enterprise Ireland, Dublin Bus, Uniphar, St. James Hospital, UCC and UCD.

“The demand for customer-focused, engaging websites and applications has grown exponentially in recent years and we’ve experienced significant growth on the back of this, consolidating our position as Ireland’s leading full-service digital agency”

The roles will include data analysts, creatives and software developers.

Strong growth across a range of sectors

Granite provides a wide range of digital solutions to businesses across Ireland, including digital strategy, web design, web development, digital marketing, SEO and PPC consultancy and managed hosting. The new roles will include data analysts, cloud infrastructure experts, software developers, creative roles and ux designers. Granite will hire experienced professionals and new talented graduates for its Granite academy programme.

The new roles will be spread across Granite’s three Irish offices to better serve its growing nationwide client base of more than 1,400 private and public sector organisations.

The digital agency has seen particularly strong growth in the fintech, healthcare, education and hospitality sectors.

The investment comes as Granite marks a significant period of growth, having more than doubled its revenue to €5m over the past three years with plans to double it again to €10m by 2022.

Granite’s €2.5m investment includes a fund set aside for strategic growth opportunities, focusing on complementary digital and software businesses to enable the company to scale at pace. It will continue to seek new investment opportunities to make new acquisitions and partnerships to enable further growth.

“We’re delighted to announce our plan to almost double the current team at Granite Digital,” said Conor Buckley, CEO of Granite Digital.

“We have a strong presence in Dublin, Cork and Galway and it’s fantastic to be able to create further quality employment opportunities in these regions. We have a highly ambitious growth strategy which we believe is achievable by bringing the right talent on board so we have the skills and capacity to capitalise on business opportunities.

“The demand for customer-focused, engaging websites and applications has grown exponentially in recent years and we’ve experienced significant growth on the back of this, consolidating our position as Ireland’s leading full-service digital agency. Through strong partnerships, strategic acquisitions, a growing team and an unrivalled level of technology skills and knowledge, Granite Digital is well equipped to truly transform more businesses in Ireland with a digital-first approach,” said Buckley.
