Facebook says eight billion videos a day are watched on its platform. Small businesses need to tap into this audience. 

Video is now the most important form of communication on the Internet and small businesses need to take note and take advantage. 

By 2017, video will account for 69% of all consumer traffic on the web, according to Cisco.

Facebook recently revealed that its users [collectively] are now watching eight billion videos every day. 

Also, over 1.5 million small businesses upload videos to Facebook each month.

To accommodate small businesses, Facebook has launched a new tool that allows SMEs make a short introductory video about their business.

Called, ‘Your Business Story’, the tool allows SMEs to create a photo slide show, with music, and a short description of what they are ‘in the business’ of doing.

Dan Levy, VP of small businesses at Facebook, told Fortune there are over 50 million small businesses with profiles on Facebook, and three million of them have spent money on ads on the network, up by 50% over the last year.
